Three Highlights from our Collections for Spring
When the cold season finally comes to an end, we all get the urge to dress a little more colourfully again. The Grünbein designers thought that shoes shouldn’t be missing, and have created some great eye-catchers for the collection spring. Those who love strong colours will get their money’s worth: there is a choice of red, yellow, green and blue, plus funny patterns and subtle shades for the new spring models. Three of them are good old friends who we have given a fresh look.
In Perfect Shape
The popular ankle-high lace-up boots come in an elegantly modified form this season: Monika II has a slightly narrower cut than the classic model – although it follows the natural shape of the foot, it now looks slightly slimmer. It is therefore ideally suited for people with wider feet and a high instep who like fashionably sporty footwear. Because Monika II also offers form and function in an ideal combination: the boots with crepe soles made of natural rubber are super comfortable, and thanks to their slightly raised forefoot area you can walk for miles with them. And they also look great: in spring the boots are available in bright red Roma leather or discreet dark blue nubuck leather.
On the Spot
Always good for a fashionable adventure is our ankle-high leather sneaker Urban. In addition to great plain colours, our designers have come up with something special for spring: the Urban Dots steps out of line with large coloured polka dots on white leather. The puristic design of the sneaker really brings out the hip pattern – a great eye-catcher for people who like to step out of line from time to time. We have three colours in our programme this spring: red, green or black, the circles glow on the white smooth leather, the sneakers look great with light jeans, chinos or shorts. But be careful: the trousers should not be too long – because hiding the dots would almost be a fashion sin.
Well Cut
We have also given our sporty ballerinas an update: Gerda II has an sophisticated look thanks to the slimmer cut in the forefoot – but without constricting the toes. We present the new shape in the colours of the season: in solid black, sunny yellow and bright red leather. The rest of the fashionable classic remains as you have always loved Gerda: instead of the normal ballerinas with girlishly thin sole and a buckle on the strap, the super comfortable feel-good shoe comes with a comfortable natural crepe sole and a practical Velcro fastener – so the strap can be adjusted quickly and easily as required. And: the reinforced heel area means that the shoe retains its shape for a long time.
