Louis is the Grünbein collection’s core piece and, legend has it, was first manufactured in 1890 as a
work shoe for local farmers by a shoemaker named Louis from the Swiss mountains. Grünbein discovered this shoe, heavily worn, at a Zurich flea market and brought it back to life. As a memory and tribute to its constructor, this sporty lace-up boot was called Louis. Each season our best-seller comes in new leather and colour varieties.

This model is available up to size 46.

This model is particularly suitable for slim feet with a low instep.
PROFILE SOLES
The soles are made of wear-resistant rubber. The profile ensures a good grip.
MADE IN PORTUGAL
This shoe was produced in Portuguese manufactures according to EU DIN standards.

For the production of this shoe we used premium leathers. This guarantees for a long life and great wearability.
HANDMADE
This model was hand crafted, mostly with traditional, artisanal methods.
